So I've not blogged in...forever. I don't have an excuse, but if I were to have one, it would be that both my husband and my best friends have spent a lot of time away from home over the past few weeks, and without them I struggle to function, let alone BLOG! Soz, I'm back now, even if two thirds of the BFFs aren't...but that's for another post...!
The Adventures of an American Mum was the second blog I ever read. I don't remember how I stumbled across it, but I remember falling a little bit in love with not just that blog, but the blogging world in general. For several years I've read Rachel's blog and followed her journey from (in her words) a bad photo taker into the most stunning, talented photographer.
I was TOTES jel when she held her first (un)Workshop. I begged Ben to let us bring our move to America forward by a decade or so, so that I could attend. Evidently that idea failed, and I ended up reading Rachel's account of it on her blog whilst fighting with the green eyed monster of jealousy...it looked wonderful. On Saturday, Rachel held her first international (un)Workshop and I was thrilled beyond words to be able to attend - it exceeded expectations, it really WAS wonderful.
The rest of the girls (and guy) on the course were beautiful and it was a joy to not only meet Rachel, but meet them too. I'm sure they will all go so far. I've spent a few hours looking through and starting to edit the photographs I took on the course and I aim to blog them tomorrow, but for now here are a few pictures of the people behind the lenses...!

It was such a joy to meet you, too :) Everyone was so lovely and I really feel like my photography has improved so much in just one day!
